Vennila A/P Muniandy

Ms. Vennilla A/P Muniandy is currently undertaking a Master Degree of Commercial Law (MCL) at University of Malaya and recently obtained a Diploma in International Arbitration. She also completed her Degree of Bachelor Law from University of London back in 1998. On 20th of February 2003, she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya before being appointed as Commissioner for Oath on 1st October 2012. Ms. Vennila has been running Vennila Anisa & Associates firm since 14th January 2004, before welcoming her new partner, Ms. Sitti Anisa Binti Abdul Razak in 2023. Since she has been in the industry for over 20 years, her extensive experiences include:

• Conveyancing like working with the developer’s office for several projects, including attending the execution of standard Sale and Purchase Agreement as well as loan documentation both for conventional and Islamic loan facilities. She also has experience with sub-sales like drafting agreements and representing both vendors and purchasers, on top of other services like perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge and attending government loan documentations.

• Litigations, where Ms. Vennila had attended several general civil litigations on matters like Obtaining Grant of Probate and Letter of administration, family law matters, wills and even mention, hearing, obtain Judgement in default & Drafting of Statement of Claims, Writ, Notice of Application, Originating Summons.

• Application of Small Estates / Administration of Estate such as handling small estate application documents as well as transferring and registering of ownership upon obtaining the orders.

• Commercial Agreements like Tenancy Agreement, Friendly Agreement and Memorandum of Understandings.

Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Vennila had the chance to work with firms like Messrs. Gerald Wong & Co. as legal partner until end of January 2004, Messrs. Badri, Kuhan, Yeoh Ghandi & Associates as Legal Assistant in 2003 and started her career with Messrs. Norendra & Yap as Chambering Student back in 2002.

Sitti Anisa Abdul Razak

Ms. Sitti Anisa Binti Abdul Razak is currently pursuing her Master of Commercial Law (MCL) at University of Malaya. Prior to that, she had earned a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and became an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya on 4th of July 2014. Before joining the firm, Ms. Sitti Anisa had worked as a legal assistant at Messrs. Lee & Chong. Then she had the chance to work with Messrs. Amy Chen & Partners as legal assistant in 2015, where she eventually got promoted to be a partner due to Ms. Anisa's excellent capabilities and professional demeanour.

During her time at the firm which she served for 8 years, Ms. Anisa had gained extensive experiences in legal services such as:

• Skilled in various conveyancing transactions for both individuals and companies.

• Expert in handling loan documentation for conventional and Islamic financing from various banks and financial institutions.

• Experienced in basic litigation, especially Bankruptcy, Debt Recovery, Family Matters and Estates

• Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and scrutinizing various corporate, commercial legal agreements, documents, and papers, and offering legal advice and solutions.

• Knowledgeable in banking procedures, including drafting loan agreements, providing legal advice and opinions to financial institutions, and proficient in loan disbursement procedures.

• Proficient in all estate matter procedures including will drafting.

• Adept in the Distribution Act, Small Estate Distribution Act, National Land Code, Companies Act, and Anti Money Laundering Act.

After careful consideration and courage, Ms. Sitti Anisa decided to take the opportunity to join partnership with Ms. Vennila and set up her own branch of Messrs. Vennila Anisa & Associates in Petaling Jaya.
